Xtra

The Xtra Cyclecar was first built in 1922 by Xtra Cars Ltd, Chertsey, Surrey. (UK). Designed by Cuthbert Clarke, the vehicle was very basic and largely resembled a 3-wheeled sidecar. The Xtra was powered by a 3.75hp single-cylinder Villiers engine and had a 2-speed transmission mounted on the rear wheel. The vehicle was a single seater with a light steel body and featured acetylene lighting. Production ceased in 1924.
