These photographs were taken in approximately 1975 at Moira (UK). In the pictures the Robins are under going “stress test” to find any weak
points within the body design.
Looking at the internal part of the shell on the top photograph suggest this shell was off the Reliant Robin 850cc range that was launched in the
same year. (The clue is the cut out hole in the leg well. This was for adjusting the carburetor and on the original 750cc series it was merely a small round hole and not the oblong hole shown in this picture).
