Nitta Sangyo

Manufactured in 1950 by the Nitta Sangyo Co. in Japan, the Sun was a two seater electric vehicle. With a convertible top and fiberglass body the vehicle weighed 960kg with its batteries in place.  Power was provided to the single rear wheel by chain and the vehicle had a maximum speed of around 30 mph and could do 60 - 70 miles on a single charge.
