Once the tripod is in place the rest of the poles can then but fitted into place. This poles
are carefully inserted so that they cross though the centre of the Tripod poles. On this occassion we are using 15 poles. Once all the poles are in place the rope that holds the Tripod poles together is then wrapped around the top of tipi and then pulled tight to ensure they are all secure. When the rope is tied the poles can easily
be manouvered in or out to ensure stability. This picture shows the completed Skeleton frame and Geoff ensuring that the rope is tight. |
