The structure of a tipi all depends on the first three poles.
Three poles are tied together near the top and then stood on end to form a tripod shape. This tripod is the foundation for all the other poles that will be added. This picture shows Geoff, making sure that the tension on the rope is tight so that the poles are firmly tied together. |
