The Czechoslovakian company of Kroboth first produced motorcars in the period 1928 - 1931 with a small car of advanced design powered by a 500cc
single-cylinder engine. The name later reappeared around 1950 on a scooter and in 1954 on a German-made 3-wheeler . The 5 prototype Kroboth Allwetterrrollers were powered by a single-cylinder 2-stroke ILO engine of
197cc but production cars from September 1954 were fitted with a single-cylinder 2-stroke engine of 174cc, which was made by Fichtel and Sachs, who also provided the 175cc engine for the Messerschmitt KR175. In 1955 some later cars reverted to ILO engines of 191cc. Production ceased in 1955 with just 55 cars made.
