My thanks go to Lloyd Hogan for this picture of what looks to be a 1955 Harper Model 55 (Invacar). Lloyd writes: I have attached a picture of a 3-wheeled microcar I saved from a 1961 LIFE magazine article. Apparently, the car was going down the road in the London
suburb of Acton quite nicely when it was savagely attacked by a lamp post. The caption said, in part, "After the impact its fiber-glass hood snapped together again, leaving the car stuck with a novel wrap-around design". I am curious to know the make of this car. Any ideas? |
