My thanks go to ex-Reliant employee Gordon Pratt for these unique shots of Reliant during the 1960’s. Gordon worked at Reliant for 5 years during the 1960s and his wife; Edna, worked in the trim shop for around 7 - 8 years.

Photo 1: Is a photo of the engine assemblers in the early 60's at Reliant. On photo are Percy Holmes (foreman) Pete sanders (engine tester) Tony Holtham, Barry Lymer, Gordon White, Gordon Pratt, Bob Crowshaw, all worked on engine assembly. Taken on our lunch break , posing on a Reliant chassis, they were towed over from the engine/gearbox/chassis assembly over the busy A5 road to the final assembly/body shop by a converted Reliant 3 wheeler pick up truck
