Welcome to my Casio Wrist Camera web site where you will see all the photographs that I have been taking with my watch. Whilst the watch does not
offer the quality of a conventional camera it is great fun and does offer some great opportunities as you constantly have a camera on your wrist.
The watch is one of Casio's latest models that features an inbuilt digital camera. You can take black and white pictures with the WQV-1 and WQV-2
models or full colour with the WQV-3 and WQV-10 models. You can then view them on screen and then upload them to your PC ready to print, e-mail or edit and download back to the watch.
The original WQV-1 was released by Casio in September 2000, and I brought one in November 2000. I brought the resin type pictured at the top
of this page. (All WQV watches come in various forms, ie resin case, stainless steel etc)
The WQV-1 was closely followed by the WQV-2 which had exactly the same internals but a different shaped casing. In August 2001 the WQV-3 which was launched by Casio and this version was now able to take full colour photographs. I managed to get one in September 2001 over the Internet, and I brought the stainless steel version pictured on this page. Hot on its tracks was the WQV-10 in November 2001. This features basically the same internals as the WQV-3 but is now able to display images on a colour LCD screen rather than the mono-chrome one used previously. I brought the stainless steel version of the WQV-10 in March 2002 again over the Internet.
All these watches often allows you to take pictures where a conventional camera is not allowed and always ensures that you have a camera for that
moment something suddenly happens and you say to yourself, “I wish I had a camera”. This site therefore holds a collection of photos that I have taken with my WQV-1, WQV-3 and WQV-10.
