My thanks go to Peter Edgley for these photos of a Reliant Regent - or at least the base of one. Peter writes: I spotted this Reliant today doing sterling sevice at the Shuttleworth vintage plane collection at Old Warden, Beds (UK). It's been there longer than anyone can remember and is I think an old Regent van less bodywork. It's used to ferry ground crew and equipment from the hangers to the parked planes on display days.The original sidevalve engine expired recently and they paid a Reliant specialist to fit a modern Reliant engine to keep it going! | |||
