| My thanks go to Wolfgang Groebner for these pictures of his Reliant Regal Pickup. Wolfgang writes: ... 4 years ago I'īve restored a Reliant Regal 3/25 of 1967 (Gallery 39). Then Iīve found another Regal, a 3/30 of
1972. I like these little cars, but didnīt want to do exactly the same job again. So I decided to build a Regal pick-up. Reliant itself has build some kinds of pick-upīs Iīve cut the Regal with a jig-saw and produced a rear panel made of GRP. The engine of the Regal is hardly accessible. Well, while working on the car, why not improve the accessibility of the engine-compartment? Iīve made a "swinging bonnet" (Greetings from Jaguar E-Type and others). The engine is still hard to access, but ages better than before!
