My thanks go to Gerry Poirier for these photographs of his TerrOpter. Gerry writes:

...The Terr0pter is a one off vehicle, over a five year period, this was after two years of tinkering following an inspiring drive in Campagna's original Concept 3 (The original T-Rex) in 1991. The frame is mild steel with a complete triangulation for maximum rigidity. The front end has a grille that serves as a bumper and is part of an energy absorbing system in case of a collision. For convenience there is a compartment for luggage up front and a large lockable glove box in the dash, plus a rack for additional luggage above the back wheel. My goal was a three wheeler for the road, going on to trips etc.... The ergonomics in the cockpit are amazing for the type of vehicle, the view is fantastic and the feeling is exhilarating.

It can be driven with the roof section in place, and that flips forward to come in or out. Or it can be removed completely and replaced by two pieces of Fiberglass, one over the windshield and the other one just infront on the back Roll Bar for an open air feel. The Wheelbase is a long 108" for incredible Stability, the front wheels width is almost 80" on the outside keeping the Terr0pter like a leech on your leg in curves. The Engine is the Fabulous Suzuki Hayabusa 1300cc engine with all its instruments, Fuel injection and all developing 175hp in stock form. At 1200# with all liquid, it will get you to Warp speed Mr. Solo in no time. ... I now drive a Super 3 Wheeler, with performance to match just about anything up to about 140 - 150 mph. It is a blast to drive and you have to be gentle on the gaz to keep that 315 Tire from spinning too much.
