The model looked much better with the chrome hubcaps shown on the prototype and so I e-mailed Lledo to mention the printing error on the preproduction model and also asked could I have the chrome hub caps back.
I soon received an e-mail stating that these changes would be made. Within a couple of days Lledo sent a photo of the latest preproduction model that was at the Corgi factory in Hong Kong where the production models were being assembled. After confirming that these changes were OK production was now in full swing.
