In July 2002 the first copy of the Limited Edition certificate was sent to me for approval. This read:
This is to certify that this model of a Reliant Regal van is one of only 1,000 produced as an exclusive Limited Edition for 3-wheelers.com. The number of this model is: 0000
The layout stayed the same but the wording on this certificate was changed slightly and so the certificate supplied with production models read:
This is to certify that this model of a Reliant Regal van is one of only 1,000 produced by Lledo as an exclusive Limited Edition for 3-wheelers.com. The number of this model is: 0000
In addition to the Limited Edition certificate supplied by Lledo I decided that I would also add an additional “Congratulations” card with each model that I would sign and number. It means I will have to sign 1,000 cards but I thought it would help to give the model more of a personal touch rather than just a promotional item for the web site. After contacting MJ Printers in Tamworth, they created 1,000 cards for me.
